Yes I know this wall is dark, it's meant to be that way. When I saw this scan (which, by the way, was scanned by WaxDoctor), a scene appeared in my head that I just couldn't shake, so I made a wallpaper of it.
I didn't particularly like Y's (the anime) but this scan was deliciously irresistible. I went for an apocalyptic mood with the light of hope far off in the distance. Wow, loving those accented lightning effects in the bg and the whole dark and rocky scenery works really well with the scan you've chosen. The text might've looked better bigger but besides that this was well done.

very very nice. it's great! the lightning and sky is beautiful, and the dark forest background definitely complements the character and gives the wall a mysterious feel. looks cool! :)
