"How do you know Perdita?" I ask.
"Little Lost One it means. Lost childhood."
"I imagine that Perdita is my child and that together we can be children and that, dancing, we are butterflies spreading our silk butterfly skirts, unfolded from cocoons, but still protected, safe."
Although, it's not quite a picture of a child, I think it'll do x_x
The wings were a total fluke, I read the book after I made this (must be an omen).
I love these books by Francesca Lia Block. ^^
Anywayz, I lost my layer count, maybe around 10. I tried to clean up the scan as best as I could. I hope you enjoy! I was kinda stuck on this one.

This is a nice composition, really. The scan is of good quality thanks to your cleanings i suppose. You always do a great job with the orange/red skies *remembering your once upon a marigold wally* this so warm. Another great job at design of the title ^_^ i like these forms. I also like a lot the "house" desing ; the pillars and so on. The motion effect on the ground is great ... like some aura. But i think you shouldn't have to create the same motion on the black part behind the pillar. it makes the nice and warm bg less precise and makes it less obvious to see ^_^ *jeez i have hard time to express myself in english ; hope you know what i mean* The wings are cute. They are like fairy powder ^_^ i would have seen them bigger in proportion with her body ... but it looks cute ^_^
great wally but maybe could you make it look even greater in my poor opinion :)
fav for me anyways :) -

One thing I want to say is that those are amazingly beautiful wings! XD Did you create them yourself? Really nice done plus the glow lights are so pretty. The bg and the perspective are really done well. Also the bg is really amazing. The effect you used on it, I wouldn't think it would work but it's really eyecatching for some reason. You really did a great job! ^_^

wow nice wallie, the texture and the bg is wonderful, the blending is so smooth. Very rich detail on your bg, the column in the setting sun was a nice touch on effects. great job Eve.
