Meh, my new wall. Um... I drew most of the background myself. The scan was from MT scan gallery, when I saw it was like must wall it! But with all the inspirations, it still turned out weird even though I put so much effort into it. There seems to be something wrong but I can't quite pinpoint it ><
This is my first time walling something in 1600x1200. The 29mb 108 layered psd file lagged my computer bad and I was constantly paranoid that it would die and 20hrs worth of work would've gone down the drain T_T But it's finally done and I'll never have to open that silly file ever again.
Anyway, I'll shutup and let you decide for yourself, I talk too much these days. Comments and suggestions welcome like always. I'll just wait for the criticism to roll in... if anyone's bothered to do even that v.v

Hehehe~ Luckily i added you to my friendslist...Now i can check all your new submissions~!! I'll start off with the good things...The bg, the house, the leaves and they sky is very nice!! Looks really proffesional~!! Love it~!! Hmm..Weird parts might be the bit of hair on the left side of the girl.. Seems like its been chopped off...Or maybe its just me~ And i think the scan dont really blend quite well to the wallpaper...I dunno how to improve it thougg ^_^' ...but~!! This is still a very nice wallpaper so i will still add it to my favourites~!! ^^

geh ... well I have to say firstly that the background is totally awesome! And hey, you used one of your past wallies as a picture - cool. Maybe it's just me but this time I think your extraction is a bit sharp - maybe you could soften the edges or something. And the lighting on the girl doesn't really match the background ...

but other than that - WOW - excellent job!

  3. Kiako Apr 23, 2005

nice wallpaper, i like the trees in the background, it looks so peaceful and
    the girl is beautiful.

  4. ayanechan Apr 23, 2005

omigosh! this looks sugoii kara! i think you're being a little too hard on yourself.. well the pebble floor... there's something wrong with the perspective .. the leaves are sugoii XD the house looks good too <3 the roof XD great job on it overall kara!

  5. Yoones Apr 23, 2005

    hello kara! :D
same thing about your extraction, I m sure you could do better as you did for your past walls.
but the background must have been an hard work...
I like the garden and the foreground plants. they re really excellent.
but there are some parts of the house I don't like, the windows in the roof, and the white door ; they don't looks like they are in this background... you did a great job.
thank you very very much for it, I must have been really hard because your computer hasn't got a 1600 X 1200 resolution, :/
really thank you for makin a big wall even if it makes things very harder for you.
    see you later take care.

the background is beautiful and it must have taken you so long to make this...
i like how you used ur past walls in the picture frame ^^

some pointers... i gotta agree about the tile thing.... angle doesnt look too right....and the girl could use a little touching up... maybe a little more smooth.. or something.. dont realli kno myself....

but ive gotta hand it too you.... it is really really good/nice/pretty/etc [you get the point]

Alot of work went into this and it shows. There is great detail shown in every aspect to create a feeling of a living and breathing landscape. Quality Work.

  15. Skillzpay Apr 23, 2005

Wow I love how you've added all the shrubs, trees, and bushes to this to really give the wall that homely feel. The only thing that I can see that could use some improvement is the grass that's riding the edge of the pathway, as it's overlapping it too much, but besides that this is beautifully done. Nice work kara!

  19. kuroimisa Retired Moderator Apr 24, 2005

Cool... silly as it sounds, I'd prefer some inperfections on the wall of the house... like maybe some fine cracks and chipped paint for a bit of texture... ^_^

Reallly reallly good wallpaper @.@ I'm mesmerised

  20. KittyCyn Apr 24, 2005
