NOTE: The last in my mini-Kino flood. For today, at least. Blame MT being down. I'd finished these several days apart but couldn't add them until now!
"This is the song of a Kingfisher Girl/Who sits by the side of the river of life..." Those are the start of a song called "Kingfisher Girl" by Maaya Sakamoto from her Shounen Alice album. Although originally this wallpaper was going to be called "Up a Creek" Kino seems to fit as the Kingfisher Girl, especially in this image where she's wading in a river. Basically I just reconstructed the rocks around her to create the image, and then used my typical Kino textures and title. I really love the overhead perspective of this image and the relaxed atmosphere.

    classy.
Like the simple composition in this.
The color just right, it's really unique to kino no tabi ^_^.
It's really a nice wall, but wondering if the textures were used to create some sort of imagery to the whole look.

    Anyhow awesome work.

Oh my... this would have to be my favorite out of your 'Kino flood'. The textures are amazing, I love them to death. The coloring is awesome with this, as well. The text looks good with this version, it all sort of just goes together for me. Keep up the good work Tama-neko!

ah very good detail and the texture is very smooth. The bg is very nice, I like the color, it gives subtle mood to it, a good peaceful vibe to it. good job Tama. :)

Tama-Neko-Onee-Chan! You actually created the perfect wallpaper for windows xp's erm olive theme XD the colors would really fit in that style.

Well i cant say much but that you really did some good work on recreating the rocks there. it looks nice and really has an easy feeling to it, just...relaxing.

Also i am very impressed with the typography, should consider doing something like that too =P in one of my next wallpapers.

well, you created a wall that gives me a calm feeling and still amazes me, definite fav for you tama!

    matane!

I like this wall the best out of all your Kino no Tabi walls, probably because I like this scan the best. Great job once again Tama!

Ooh..Kingfisher girl!! Kawaii!! ^_^' Okay okay..I'll stop saying "kawaii". It's starting to annoy me too. ^.^ Again, this wallie is very matchable with my current theme which is sadly, nothing interesting, the olive theme! I'm find for peaceful green wallpapers and you came out with your Kino no Tabi idea! :D Yay! Our minds are truly connected! We're mind sisters! :nya: Hehehe..^_^ +fav

i love the genuine feeling of this wall which makes me feel kinda relaxed when i look at it (maybe its the soothing color of herbal green). it's more filled-up than your other kino walls, which i think is nice, and i like the subtle ripple on kino's ankles. good job tam tam!

Interesting scan you have chosen and therefore this wallpaper has an interesting perspective. Again, love the texture which reminds of my favourite fabric for skirts (forgot the name in English and I am too tired to look for it in the dictionary). That's yet another favourite for me.

beautiful! I like this light coloring!

This is really nice. The tones you used were very relaxing and they blended with the scan perfectly. But you could have used another texture or filter for the last touch. It's not bad, but it makes the whole wall kind of blurry and it can get a bit harsh to look at it over time.
