well, I loved this scan I found in actually a "how to draw manga" magazine [o_0] the artist is Noriko Meguro

soo anyways, I made two walls- one with regular colours and monochromatic.. we all know how nuts I am for monochromatic... >_< i like values, what can i say? >_<

    whoa first wall from the downtime :)
    well just a good job, but sooo creepy. is that a gaz mask the cat's wearing?? nooo i'm gonna send a protestation letter to the kitties protection society ^_^'
    anyway, the chara fits so well into the bg, and it's pretty awesome all the whirls or whatnot you made, it makes me think of an apocaliptic sky with a storm, but i don't know it's weird cause it seems it's inside a room. really a weird feeling, but a nice wall XP

    It feels that the scan has a lot of connetion to the color somehow.
    Unsusual pick of scna from u ^_^.

    cool scan indeed... i don't always like monochromatic walls, but this one looks really good... i like the atmosphere and the fogginess... adds mystery, and creepiness loll... yup, i like, good job!! keep it up!

    I see this one has a darker tone to it, and more edge to it, very interesting. I see bel-san been doing a lot of this types of theme lately, she likes to play with darkness sometimes huh ;) Well personally not much of a fan of this type of genre, but I like your work, so I don't mind it that much. Waiting for a very happy mood wallie from bel-san ;) lol anyway good job bel-san.

    hehe, I think I have that scan too, it's creepy and cool at the same time --nodsnods-- well this wall turned out very grey, lol. A little grainy at some parts, probably from the saving or effects you used, it's a little bland, but still pretty cool in it's own way ^___^

    I think I prefer the monochrome version of your wall, even if the colors are beautiful in the other one.
    The scan fits a lot more with your background in this version.
    And it's more creepy/strange like atmosphere.
    It's nice :)
    You didn't add a title, it could be even nicer with a pretty font.
    Anyway, thanks for sharing...

    I love that cat! XD Kitty looks great with that mask. It's really creepy stuff and you really pulled it off with the matching bg. You really pick a good color for this and great job with the blending. Great stuff!

    It's yet another crazy scan, looks like the same series as the other wall you submitted. I think some added fx could've helped, maybe like some fog and flames.

    Wow, the character has cat-like eyes..oh look, there's actually a real cat! ^^

    i generally don't like monochromatic wallpapers, but in this particular case, it really contributes and enhances the tone and atmosphere. The scan is sorta creepy and mysterious, which makes it all the better! The background suits the scan quite well, it appears to be larger versions of it, but I can't really tell. I like the overlay of patterns, most notably in the bottom-middle portion of the wallpaper, nice work!

    Very interesting scan chose, and it works pretty well with the background you gave it. Perhaps a little to simple for me in the plain gray format, though--a few earthtones might help. I know you submitted a colored version as well, so I'll check to see if I like that one better.
