Meh. A textured wallpaper.
This wallie is probably the most tiresome and hardest one that I've drawn so far, since it features a scenic
background with lot of elements that need to be drawn (excluding the scan of course). Anyway, this will be my last
scenic for a little while, I have got exams coming up at university and when I'll be done with them I might use a
different style for the next wallpaper just because I don't want to get bored, eh.
As you can see it's a perspective bg, I actually drew the pathway according to the same perspective that is also
used in the original scan. The hardest and most-time consuming part of the background was the grass, since it covers a
very huge part of the wallpaper and it had to be drawn following perspective as well, I had to draw and retouch it so
many times that I've lost the count, lol. After all that I then applied a texture all over the wallie to make it
look like a painted drawing of some kind (the texture used can be found at resurgere.deviantart.com)
Lastly, some info for the nerds who roam around MT:
Layers: 261 (yes you read it correctly, 261 [with the rocks added] damn layers... I think I've went on a frenzy
when I drew this, lol)
Hours spent: a lot (actually 3 days of activity)
Size of the psd: 361,7M (like... omg.)
Last but not least, I want to sincerly thank Einna, Sammo, Angelette, MadWiz and all the people on the irc channel who
followed my work in progress and tortured me to death to draw as much corrcect as possible the bg (lol xD).
[Edit] I've edited the title, following OracleAngel's suggestion.
[Edit2]following everybody's input, I've adjusted ed's vertical perspective, I've managed to draw
some stones and little rocks all over the road and to make it look dirtier (added puddles as well) and I've
adjusted the tree size to a more realistic dimension, still according to the perspective. Thank you everyboy for your
precious comments.
