i worked on and off on this wall for about 4 days ^_^' but i feel it was very worth it =P i think the idea for this wall was because of rei's expression and i built the wall around that. the mountain behind is none other than MT Fuji! yah! its from a scan and i edited it to look like the part of the picture. i did a layered fog effect so some grass is clearer than other bits. the shrine was taken from a photograph and it really adds this spiritual stuff to it. lol well i give credits to shinn giving some tip about the rain effect cause i didnt know what i was doing XD i also thank my cuz chi-bo for being a great critic who is so brutally honest. well i hope you all enjoy this work cause i certainly do XD

the rain matches perfectly w/ the scan
too bad i can't do something like that,
there is no way u can do that on paint shop >_>
the fog is much better (to me) than the other one u did
and u minipulated the scans very well to make them go w/ the scan

The dark ambiance and the rain are well done, I'm a fan of rainy wallpaper :)
And you put a "torii", I very like this portals!
And that scan of Rei is sure beautiful.

The text really kills the wall. =_= Is it the style thats wrong? T_T Don't know, something about that text bothers me. The water on the bottom needs some texture. And you should have added a layer under the grass thats brown and grassian blurred it so it would fit with the river. Too much rain. O_O Looks like fiber falling down. You should have added some effects on the water because of rain, like ripples or puddles. One last thing, the grass is too big. Stick with one solid color for the grass and then add layers to it and blend and change layer style of grass to make it look more real.

The mountain looks great. The clouds look great. The rain looks great. The shrine looks great.
Great extraction and blending.
But I think you could show some more interaction between the rain and the top of her head although the slight glow does look a little like rain splatter.
Still a great concept and really well done. Keep it up!

There are almost no mistakes here. and trust me I normally catch em'. The bg and the scan are amazingly blended together and i've never even seen that scan of Rei before, it's real nice.
the rain effect is splendidly done and the fog effect goes perfectly with it. All in all this is a great wall and I'll give it and A++

I love the rainy feel and the mood.. think it would be alot better without the text though.. It would be more.. effective
