There are so few Hana Yori Dango wallpapers - there is not much artwork for this series either. I'm a huge fan of Hanadan, and I really fancy Hanazawa Rui, all moody, melancholic and silent. The artwork at the beginning of the series is not particularly good - but it grows on you - but much later, it really improves. I decided to make a wallpaper of Rui, using an image from the manga from one of the later volumes. Heh, I love bishies with scarfs, can you tell?
I colored the image myself as usual. The hair was a real pain, because it took me several tries to nail the color right. It always looked too orange XD But I'm quite pleased on how it turned out in the end. I loved coloring his eyes - green eyes are killers for me!
The background is mostly based on stock pictures from Stock Exchange. There's a picture from a wall, with some posters and various pictures that I used to make additional posters. The poster of the flower has a meaning, if you've read that far in the manga ;) I loved that arc of the story :)

He is just toooooo cuuute in this scene! Like you said yourself, the drawing of the serie really improve...and we are all so happy about it :)
This image of Rui was clasified in my "bishounen" folder for a while now ( yeah yeah...I have a bishounen folders with enought images of bishies to make you faint ^_~ ) and , as for Sano, I didn't expect to ever see it colored ^_________^ It's almost scary how much our tastes maches so well irian ^^;; Maybe we knew each other in another life or something :P -

The artwork from the series does seem fairly good. And some of the stock images you used are really interesting. Interesting wall. Keep up the good work!

Nice idea for the BG with the stock photos. Once again great coloring that you did and I can see why the hair color was a hard one, but as you say it came out just fine XD
