I'm back with the first of half-a-dozen walls I'm working on right now, the last remnant of spring break. >< Real life is back again, but I'll try to keep it at bay and return to a schedule of a wall every 1-2 weeks. Anyways, that's boring.
I started this while a couple months ago, and it went through several drastic revisions before I finally ditched it; nothing really worked. When I downloaded the Amano artbook Maten recently, I noticed some really lovely surreal shapes in some of his artwork, and borrowed those for the bg. I originally had a huge moon too, but moons are so hackneyed. >< Scan is from the Omnibus Collection; stock from sxc.hu as usual. For more resolutions, please visit PxAE.

The way she blends with the darkness amuses me greatly. And her ghostly figure fits well the theme.
The overal shadowork is nify, actually. The... winged creature and the reddish colour theme give it a rather hellish athmosphere. Well, I guess that was the intention. XD

The whole hell and dark atmosphere is simple amazing,the forms,the texture and the scan,also the name,i have some obsession with "Forsaken",but for some reason i think that the scan is too bright for the whole theme,but,overall is an amazing wall as usual,good luck on the real life ^^U

nice dark theme, personally not much of gloomy theme kind of guy, but I appreciate good art work, the texture is very good and the color fit the mood very nicely. It look like haunted pic, so I guess you got what you aim for. :) good job bunny. :)

Beautiful stuff Biri chan...Like how the light seems to stand out in the dark as well as how it sorta has a gothic feel to it but yeah as always you still keep at a pace and thats why i love it...Great job as usual girl! XD

the wallpaper looks nice, the structure of the background is kind of interesting and how the girls hair are colored looks strange, but it isn't that bothering. but the red sign there on the black part is bothering

Wow, this is a pretty wallpaper...
Some problems I have with it though, the text is so unfitting IMO. It seems more grungy then the feel this wallpaper is giving off. I'm not a fan of the blurriness on the character and leave things also. The backround is possibly the best part of this wallpaper, I love it. I would use it without the character and tree things on it ^^; but it's good. Keep up the good work Biriwilg!
