Yeah, I know, Im such a FF:VII fan-whore, but what can I say, I love the series. Tis a fanart from over at deviantart, by Mielzs_Manga. Go check `im out sometimes. Anyhow, as usual, the complete killjoy at the end of the first disc, Aeris`s death and Cloud`s reaction.
You have no idea how that scene affected me. Anyhow..
This one took awhile, learned quite a few new effects. I had to redo her legs,
as anyone in the sandbox will tell you, and this was the best i could manage.
Its really not that bad, though such effete, picky folks such as yourselves will
instantly notice its not perfection
Well,
sue me, I cant draw all that well at *all*. Im particularly proud of the water
m`self. I originally wanted a more abstractish background, but I think the
starry one fits better. Its been sitting as my BG for days, so it DOES
work.
Layers: `bout 30
Time: 4 days
Inspiration: Was replaying FFVII. Great game, I DEMAND A PS3 VERSION! THIS I
COMMAND.
As usual, comments. Critiscism about the legs will be ignored.

Way better than what i could ever do, so i think it's a very nice wallpaper
I love your wallpaper im a fanatic of final fantasy so i thank you for this wall
yeah. her legs are a bit off, BUT otherwise its a nicely made wall, <3 reflections in the water. Keep up the good work
Such a sad moment in video gaming history...
Overall a well done wallpaper, minus the issue with Aerith's lower legs.
Very nice wallpaper Teyron
Really good atmoshpere matching the image.
*thumps up*
Nice wall. Would be neat if it was a bit darker and there was more contrast.
so beautiful...i love it.
this is such a sad, emotional wall...
i think the grayish-blue colors of your sky and water fits perfectly with this mood.
i also think your composition is great because the background, trees, and scan compliment and work together quite well.
and you did a wonderful job with the reflections in the water.
but i think the stars that kinda look like crosses seem to appear fake...tho' that's just my personal opinion.
fantastic work!
Good work! Not bad the background (a bit 2D...) and wonderful colours, very good the scan. Great!
The empty trees are a very nice detail with this sad atmoshere. Also the grey and dark colours are so sad...
I think you're not alone in being affected by that scene. Everyone I know was asking She'll be back right, right?
Thanks for the wallpaper.
Yes awesome scan but a better wall, love it good job.
it looks good, i like the charas, but the trees cover themselves a bit strangely well the colors are strange and they look like they would be cut out of a peace of paper, and the watter works strangely but i like the scene.
What a beautiful wallpaper. Thanks for sharing.
Hmmm well the legs are just a bit short... I'd say her feet should be toeing the river.
The background is done very well... the brushwork is really good
Extraction this time round is really good- cept for where you joined her legs
Some mist around where he's standing could help too... or either the part on his
clothes above the water should be darker (just get a new layer, pentool on black
and draw something like MMMM <-- at different heights and widths over his
clothes and set the mode to darken)
Otherwise, it's a well worked background, with very good brush effects
So pretty and so touching! I just love this wall!
I love the wallpaper, it's greatly done... =)
I still remember this moment back from my youth. I love cloud is holding her and having his guilt shown. It makes the wall show its feeling.
Ohhh, this is so beautiful and heart breaking. I LOVE it! I've only just recently played FFVII *avoids a thrown tomatoe* but this scene made me cry. Wonderful wallpaper!
Love the wallie, only thing I would have done different is the trees...maybe should have made them like white like in the forgotten capital. Otherwise great job!
*crying* its so beuatiful.... so sad...... *click*
This scene greatly affected me as well, and of all wallpapers featuring Aeris on this site, this is probably my favorite. Very good work, thanks a lot. ^_^
the sadest moment in videogame history ever
a really great wall
keep that good work up
