but i find the text disturbing.

Agree totally with Yumi and other members here...Have to say, the BG is amazing, lovely and very worked one! But the text perspective isn't the same of the wall's perspective....so it feels like if the text is falling down the wallpaper (I mean the little text down the main title)

Whatever candy-chan says, this wall is really good. The air of an old-greek temple is quite nice, the wallpaper is quite expressive yet peaceful. I wonder, is she some kind of goddess?
Apart from that, the starts are good,the temple is quite nicely done and honestly, the clouds are really nice.
Simple, expressive and nice. A favorite.

Nice work here. It may be plain but it also has a good innocent feel about it. Very clean and clear very well created, hope to see more like this

This is wonderful I love how you can feel the openness of the area and the sky.. It's so peaceful and beautiful and I love the Greek theme.
I think the wall works better without the text - the 'Chineseness' seems odd next to the otherwise 'Greek' feel.. And kind of disturbs the otherwise peacefulness of the wall, though that could have very well been what you were going for.

One thing that I would point out is the slight error in perspective. More specifically, in the stairs.. To emphasize the expansiveness and the receding stairs it might help to blur/lessen the contrast between light and dark as it gets further away from the front. Errm actually I just realized you did that already.. Oh, I know. It seems like the top white strip (the top of the top stair) should maybe be thinner? It seems like we see too much of it for the level of view we are at now, which is almost at eye level with, or slightly below the girl. But who cares about that kind of stuff I tend to obsess with stuff like this because I can't wall and can only point out such things..

Anyway I love love love the serenity of the textless wall and the beautiful clouds and the color scheme of the whole thing that just go so well together.. I think I'll fav this

However, it seems like the ambient is a bit too bright? other than that, it is a great work, especially the dress and its shadow, contour. Looks real and beautiful. Quite like it.It is very nice of you to have upload the 1600 x 1200 resolution version.

This is a very nice wallpaper. It's very clean and simple, but works very well with the scan.

I'm glad you updated with the textless version, as I like it much better. I also pretty much agree with what CN- (Cyn) said. You are able to add an amazing amount of depth with a deceptively simple background. Great job, as always.

In regards to the text: even though they were lyrics from a song, most people would not have seen that, and only assumed, as I did before, that it was some sort of political message from you.
