I was looking for a b/w scan to color and so I found some sketches from the FLCL
designworks. It was a simple character scan but I still chose Ninamori because
she is an overlooked character and I liked her. Especially in the manga.
So I colored her in purple o.o OMG the color can cause cancer of the eyes. But
FLCL isn't a beautiful anime with cute girls and nice pictures. It's got its own
style. That's why I added the brushes on each color layer. My original idea xD
hahaha~
The scene in the background is the place where the river flows. There's the
bridge, see :3? First I made the outlines and then colored it like the
character. But it looked like an oil paiting, so that's why, again, I added the
brushes and soundwords (selfmade brushes, yayz).
If I hear anyone complaining about the colors, I'll report their comments xD I welcome constructive critique very much. However not comments as 'i don't like this'. Advice is very nice (I made a rhyme xD I'm so cool).
At last, I'm thankful for all your comments you're giving me. This wallpaper is dedicated to all FLCL fans. And I'm sorry for my poor English, I guess I need to join Kev's new group xD

Ahh, an FLCL wallpaper ;3 I think I'm going to use this! Anyway, the vector job is awesome! And the backround is also very awesome... you are so good at making wallpapers Chibikko <3 Keep up the good work!
Firstly, the colouring is nice and works well with the scan. However, I don't like the brush effects. In some instances, it works ok, but other bits just look messy because of it. It's a shame because the overall piece is so nice without them.
I do very much like the embankment and the bridge though, they just seem nice to my eyes.

whoa, now this is a nice wallpaper! I love its sytle, it really looks like an oil-painting and those "random brush strokes" really help conveying that idea. Awesome job ^_^.
I like the style of the wallpaper. The colors are very nice. I also like the brushes. I don't know why but i think it looks just like flcl means: Chaos wherever you look (jeez... my english is sooo bad

Woa its almost very original and the "Im sick of it" brush strokes makes this wall weird and unique for some reason but mostly i didnt like Ninamori i like more of Mamimi etter cos shes cooler but yeah love the bg, made from scratch eh?

the brushes over the bridge and over the grass are okay.. but I think those over the sky are unnecessary.. I like the way how you coloured the scan and the bg.. cuz they all have one style and that's great ^^ but i would work more on the line art of the scan.. the hand looks really odd.. O__O anyway, another great work from you, +fav ^^

Wow, it looks really nice!! The coloring rocks and the font looks great. I like how you have the font on the bottom and with those colors. Great work. Very original indeed! ^^

Ok...Ninamori? She looks good. Really, really good...except for her hand...that looks kinda funky. Is it in a fist or something? It could use a little work to make it look nicer. But other than that, she is awesomeness incarnate. Plus she's just a terrific character. I think the purple works really well, here. It's neat.
Most of he brush strokes on the wall and the bridge look good, they sort of an add aura of reality, actually. Makes them look worn, 'n stuff. The grass just plain rocks, great job with that. The brushes in the sky, though, look pretty stupid. Maybe if they didn't intersect so many things...but I think the wallpaper could do without them. Not too fond of the purple brush thingies by Ninamori either...but that's more of a style thing and I see no reason why they can't stay.
The wordage looks cool, I like it. Freezing cold Ninamori Eri, artistic liscence, furikurish life, and I'm getting sick of it...and another one I can't read...my only suggestion here would be to change the colors slightly. That green color doesn't really stand out very well.

I like how this drawn. Not too bright and the background is a nice setting. Ninamori is nicely drawn.
seeing a character not overdone is refreshing and it was done very well, the words detrat a bit but still very well done.
