I wanted to create a wall with this scan but i'm not really proud of it.
Even i tried to have it better than it is... this is the only thing i could create.

Layers : 37
Time : too much ^^

Hope you'll like it! Comments are really welcomed! ^^

Hey! Not bad! I actually think this looks pretty good. Even the extraction of the scan is pretty decent with the exception of some spots around the hair. Still, it's barely noticeable and only if you're really looking for it. You did well with this wallpaper. =^_^=

Nice work on this one Psycho!! I like the background it's nice and sunny XP
the girl is really cute and it suits the background a lot but I think you should work more on the extraction ;)
keep up the good work!!!

cuter and sexy scan miss!

You can make a Travel organisator advertising with that wallpaper ^^... Seriously, I really like it

Heyas! Browsing the walls and yours caught my eye :D If you don't mind too much, I'll just run my thoughts past ya. Well, you don't have any choice really, I'm gonna post this no matter what hehe.

First the good. The scan is cute, but that isn't your work, so we'll leave it at that. The background, however, is really cool. I love the painted feel to it, which when included with the slanted perspective, really sets this wall apart from others. The colours (something that will always draw my eye) are nice and soft, giving this almost a weathered sunbeaten feel.

However... couple suggestions. First, as mentioned the extraction can be cleaned a little better ,esp. around the hair. Second is the drink. It would take an insane amount of work to colourize this correctly for this to look right (since you've curves and such to consider), but if you could, make the parts that should be transparent... actually show some of the background through it.

My major suggestion for this is a matter of perspective though. IMO, the background has a nice soft painted feel to it, which doesn't really match the character, nor does the perspective (looking up slightly at the character, looking down on the background. What I would really suggest is to play up the differences. As it stands right now, this character really looks like she is standing in front of a slightly faded wall mural. I think it would be cool to add a few "cracks" or "chipped paint" areas to the background, and shift the character's shadow so that it matches a vertical backdrop. Do that, and any persopective complaints drop away immediately, and the entire piece feels designed instead of having the elements (fore and back) causing some dissonance.

All my opinion, of course, so feel free to ignore at will :D

Note: I still think the wall is pretty cool... keep posting!

Very nice wall!

Its a very nice scan you used. The bg is also very nicely done. My only criticism would be the perspective, as mentioned above, between the girl and the beach. It looks as if the beach is soaring up at 45 degrees or more behind her.

Otherwise its very well done.

Cute scan!! Nice background! Nice job. There are just some spots that seem grainy for me unless that is the effect you want to achieve. But I am more worried about the extraction of the hair. The colors are indeed soft and fit so well together and definitely does give a nice watercolor effect. The perspective problem could be easily fixed if you are using photoshop as the program. Try out Edit>Transform>Perspective. Overall, good work though =)

ouah super ^^ ce wall aurait ete parfait pour le summer contest ^^
tres beau boulot, je le met en fav ;)

You didn't do bad at all on this wallpaper.

It seems to be a dreamy background with the cute girl as the centerpiece, kind of a lazy summer vacation feel to it.

It feels.... off balance. Maybe you intended this, I dunno.

The background and the scan clash too much though. They don't really flow together, and looking at it makes me feel like I'm about to fall over.

sometimes i want holidays will never stop )

Hey! isn't that a sake bottle?

Unstoppable..! Hehe! Great Job!
