She gets a bird? Well, I experienced that birds are quite loud which can be annoying when you want to watch TV or listen to the radio or just talk with someone - plus, birds are selfish -.-
It's true that they are cute but I recommend something silent like a hamster ^^
The picture is nice and it has something that makes it smooth. I cannot explain it but I think it is something like a blur-effect which looks good. Pose, background, clothing were done very well.

Aww~ It's ashame that your parents forced you to draw something w/o wondering if you really want to do it. But the result turned out really nice though. It's a wonderful sunny scene. a bit late but, happy bday frozen's sis who've i've never seen!

Now that brings back some memories, my parents used to make me do the same thing . And it's blue again, that goes well with your style . The sketchy lines and rough shading give a very natural look. There isn't that much to critique or comment actually, but it's well drawn that's sure.
