i dont think i ever walled final fantasy before from what i can remember, but
when i saw nekkeau's beautiful fanart for aerith, i pretty much couldn't take my
eyes off of it. honestly, his work in general is amazing and if you havent done
so already, go check it out!

anyways, first thing i did was get his permission to wall this and then i went
about thinking of a way to do justice to the image. i felt that if i changed it
too much i would actually be taking away from its original beauty then adding
anything significant. so i went with more of a simplistic approach. following
my previous wall, i tried doing a strong dynamic contrast in the image and made
half the wall in complete darkness and the other part in complete light. then i
added some light shading tweaks to aerith so that she fit the setting change.
finally, i added a light texture with the same text layout as my other walls.
and like the others, i got the text from a song, in this case it comes from
"Eye" by The Smashing Pumpkins & is off of the Lost Highway
OST.
finally, i really got to give credit to nekkeau once again for the beautiful
image and thanks for letting a fool like me wall it (and possibly butchering it
in the process).

Again a fantastic job from the God,is not easy to find a good quality scan from Aerith,the texture,the contrast between the dark bottom and the high part is again amazing(each time is getting better i think),nothing more to say,of course is a fav(and also is my desktop)
this one reminds me of your last one with sakura and syaoran.. somehow both have the same composition.. but a different atmosphere. I love the composition of colours adn the perspective is great too! excellent work +fav ^^

Simplistic and nice design. I always quite like the texture of your works, like real printouts.
For this piece, I think it would have been better if the character in question actually have her face turned towards us, away from the light. Having her only lying partially in the light with her eyes turned towards us doesn't really fit the theme (the 'Turn away from light...')

I thought to call it my favorite "Wonderwall", but whoops that's the wrong band. No "Champagne Supernova" here this is pure "Landslide" reflection!

nice job crap, dig the light and dark heh. The only thing i dont like is the starburst, they are too generic if you varied the size some or used something other then starburts. just my rant.
