Whoa, that's crazy. I think your manipulation looks more real than the original drawing (but the drawing not so bad i guess XP ). I really love the background and the birds. The artist appraoch fits the style in which the girl was drawn. The colors also play well against each other. They act well to contrast each other creating a focal point of the girl. The type treatment is awsome as well. It lends to the painterly (almost like ancient wall scrolls) feel of the wall. Seems to me like you can wall by yourself just fine.
