Your technique really is improving, as is your composition! Too bad you have those pesky finals to deal with. <g> I understand completely about needing a mental break from the intensity of studying; I do the same thing when the stress levels get high -- go play for a little bit and come back in a somewhat better frame of mind.

I think the color and composition works as is. The text works for me, both content and font/style, and I'm not a big fan of text in an image. Since it works, it means you paid a lot of attention to how it fit and flowed with the overall wall -- nicely done.

Also, I'm normally not fond of repeating the same figure's image as part of a bg or "echo" within a wall. That tactic just takes up space without adding anything to the interpretation. But it works here, I think because the text suggests an echoing back and forth between the character and the choices for one's destiny. Will he choose one path, or go down another? So the doubled figure works in this context and works well.

I'm making it a favorite, though I won't put it in my wallpaper rotation as bishonen don't get me all frothed up.
