Hello Minitokyo, it's been a while.
Started this right after "To find your flower", so it's actually the
only thing I drew in almost 3 years (drawing a little every now and then, and
starting from scratch countless times).
Original with 0.5 mechanical pencil on a 65x50cm grainy paper so I had to scan
it in 6 times and have fun in PS. Quality is crap but I may post a closeup
later.
A lot of inspiration over the years, but no ref used. I could write a book about this but I would rather hear what you feel about the pic on its own, feel free to ask/critic/etc...
Dedicated to all those who said I would never finish it, and to those around
here who still remember me

Though I'm sorry you seemed to have trouble over this, the wait would be worth it. This is an utterly gorgeous piece. I like that it's done monochrome. It makes all your amazing fine details really stand out. It's pieces like this that make me continue to poke around in various galleries and follow piles of links of whatever catches my eye. Thank you so much for submitting this piece.

What a beautiful piece! Absolutely perfect light and shadow and a great texture. I love that you kept her facial features so delicate, it is a nice counterpoint to the rest of the piece. I feel that the entire piece speaks to her expression, as the mood is somber and dark, and though the picture is busy, it does not seem overwhelmed. Very nice work. ^_^
