This is my (outdoor) entry for the 
Hopefully it's not too bright (I think the dark
atmosphere makes up for the rather light colouring)
I always wanted to make an EL wallie, but I didn't want it to be ConceptArt or ArtNouveau. I stumbled upon this scan and decided it would be perfect. I traced her and then looked for an idea for a background. I found one that made me go *wow this is gonna be perfect*
Now, for the idea:
1. I wanted the bg to be as simple as possible to underline the misery and
loneliness. Check
2. I wanted the starry spring to look like it's draining what's left of her
life. Check
3. The sign is supposed to look like it's carved in the stone. Check
4. The single stone is a symbolic sacrificial altar. Check
5. The vines around her arms - the vector powers that went berserk on her.
Check
6. Title - an idea going around in my head 'what would happen if the girls
weren't able to control the powers at all'. Check
Vectored, painted, added textures and patterns. That's it really.

Eerie yet beautiful. It might sound creepy but I love the blood in this O_o I also thought it was interesting how the 2 scans you chose were so perfect to use together. Great work!

i ADORE this scan, i even wanted to vector it but then thought that im not enough mature for that kind of a scan
love everything but the background, no, i like plain bgs, but i think the colour is a bit too saturated...
