This is my first entry in 
's contest! Sub-category being outside, of course. The
source image is from the Favole artbook
by Victoria Frances. Found it at Aethereality.net.
The title of the wallie is "Murder at the Carnival" in Italian. you'll
understand more in a minute. 
So anyway, the image was a painting of what looked like a dying clown. When I took a closer look, I figured out that it was really a participant in Venice's anual Carnivale. I just had to wall it! Mainly because I am a fan of the whole Carnivale thing, but also because it had some blood (which is the theme of the contest). The thing that made me even happier is that it's not too bloody, but rather.... sad and depressing. I've never really done a dark wallie before, so I made sure to keep some dark thick shadows. It took forever to make all of those textures (for me at least because I don't have a fancy shamcy program like photoshop). Overall, it turned out nicely. Not exactly what I originally had in mind, but this is the best I can do with my software.
Heh, hopefully I'll do well in this contest! My next entry will be similar in
theme, so if you like Venetian Masks and Carnevale, keep your eyes peeled.

nice! so you made outdoor entry! i like everything on it, except character is a little too bright but it's not whole bright so it can pass.. anyways you did a gread job and i like blood.
