When i saw this illustration, i couldn't resist to scan and to dedicate it to my pokemon friend Fenafir as i know you like gothic looking character and as we just talked about the "Moonlight Sonata", a piano piece written by Beethoven
I scanned this illustration from Suzuhira Hiro chronicle artbook, which is a pure marvel. It is around 125 pages of colored illustrations detailing her artistic career from 1999 to 2007. It contains a lot of rare illustrations. I really advice people liking her art to buy it ; you won't regret it ^_^
I chose to scan this picture because it is my favourite of the book. I really admire how she designed the reflexion of the character in the piano and the whole atmosphere of the picture (the piano, her dress, ...). She's a real master in my opinion ^_^

If you noticed there is a music score on the scan ; as i was curious i tried to
play it. It is a piano score but i arranged it to a bass one.
The result is dedicated to my pokemon friend Fenafir ; i hope you'll like it
The score was not well printed so i sometimes couldn't guess the notes ... That's why i composed a bit in the spirit of the original theme.
I explain you a bit the structure :
From 00:00 to 00:35 -> This is the main theme. I play it in arpeggio as i
think it's nicer. But it's the same chords than the original
From 00:35 to 00:52 -> This is the first variation. It's nearly the same
chords than the original; i had to adapt a bit because i couldn't guess some
notes ^_^"
From 00:52 to 1:33 -> This is my composition. I think it stays in the spirit
of the piece ^_^
From 1:33 to the end -> This is the last theme. It's nearly the same as the
original. I just fixed some notes ^_^

Oh yes! I always wonder where this scan came from because I found it a long time ago on some site and although I know it's probably Suzahira since her style (like any other artists) are distinct. Well, thanks you very much for telling us where it came from!
