I sure have an obsession with girls in long dresses lately, can't help it.
Anyways, here is another wall in Art Nouveau style and this time it even has
some text in it. I kinda feel like I should apologize for the stupid title
though, I really wanted to put some text in that blank corner and couldn't think
of anything better. Actually it was quite hard to come up with a good design
idea for the bg, because the scan looks so simplistic I thought it would clash
with something really detailed ( for example I wanted to decorate the crescents
with jewels but had to rework it because it just looked weird). I came up with
that good fortune/ luck/ 4 leafed clovers idea because I actually think that
Nill was quite lucky in the manga (getting saved in the nick of time etc.), that
doesn't make her the goddess of luck yet but oh well...

and her dress, the coloring kind of recalls a peacock I think. The image was
vectored as always and touched up with textures from DA!, the background was done from scratch
(was real fun to do). I changed the colors on some parts of Nill several times
while working, in the original there was still some bright blue/green/yellow
which I changed to green/turqoise or less bright colors. The most anoying thing
was that I had to vector the text because my evil grafic programm wouldn't load
the font, so I went all the way around using a screenshot of the text and then
vectoring it. 
Hell has no wrath like me forced to trace fonts, but the fact
that this font (found here)
fits the wall so perfectly somewhat eases the pain.
I'm quite happy with the outcome here and hopefully you'll like it a little as
well. Special thanks go straight to 
because that's where I browsed for resources and
inspiration.
Comments are greatly appreciated and also watch out for the Nill vector (without
textures/with original colors/higher res), I'll upload it as well. 
Edit: Changed the font to sharp outlines,
as Euna suggested (I must have been blind to overlook the crapiness of the
blurred font), however it still has green oultines. 
For poor people like Kashikosa who only have widescreen, there's now the 1920x1200
widescreen version, think of it as an early easter egg. I gave my best with
it but personally I like my 1600x1200 version best (didn't have to try fill up
empty space 
).

Okay... let's start with a little complaint - WHY ISN"T THERE A WIDESCREEN VERSION?!
Overall, the vector is beautiful, the composition looks complete - nothing to add, nothing to remove (still sulky about her almost new desktop wall) Really nice colour usage, I haven't seen a good green wallie since, like, forever!
Oh, and yeah Nill was pretty lucky in the manga so the clovers fit the image
Good job. You've chosen your colours well and the vector work is pretty good too. If there is anything I don't like, it would be the dress design. The round circly edges look kind of weird but I suppose I can't blame you since that's how the scan was. Also, the green border around the text makes it look quite blurry. Having it sharper might look nicer
But
overall, good job.
oo how beautiful :3 Maybe it's just the abstract part of me, but I the dress caught my attention in the thumbnail...I absolutely love it's design. Great job!

Great Art Nouveau design, two thumbs up for its originality. The dress looks a bit weird with the round endings, but I saw the scan and noticed that it was from beginning so (though it does remind me a bit of a peacock as well).
I will surely use it on my desktop soon.
seems this wall was submitted just a short while before my favourite holiday- Saint Patrick's Day; so i find the colors quite well suited.
i can't get enough of these art nouveau walls - and this is not only one of the best of those; but also yours in terms of layout in my humble opinion.
