this is a two part wallpaper, this is part two, part one can be found here
twilight in scarlet by eternallegend
i thought i'd do a short description this time since my last description was
huge 
additionally, i wanted to go for a simple look in this wallpaper, because simple
is spiffy not only that, but i also wanted to give this wallpaper a painty
feel
this wall took a lot longer then i initally expected
the moon was really something when i came to vectoring it. all the subtle
colours, tones and hues really boggled me for a moment so
hopefully they look ok, i changed the small moon since i wasn't a fan of the
plain [sort of] one toned moon so i made it similar to the big one, with it's
texturey feel. for the big one, i also added the bottom half at the
bottom
in general, i tried to make the wall look as exact to the original as i could so
i hope i succeded. i was using the eyedrop tool to gain every colour there so
that it looks at least close to the original
reconstructing took up a fair portion of the time when i was working on this
wall. not only that, there are so many flowers and petals they
took ages i also used a flower at the end of the chain instead of the star
since the star would have looked slightly out of place.
the clouds are "misty" clouds which has been painted and was the most
easiest part of the wall. i really enjoyed painting the clouds they're
really soft since i didn't want them so dark
the raindow was added to make it more colourful and vibrant and its meant to look slightly hazy since rainbows arent meant to be sharp looking
the butterflies were also added for a bit of natures touch and
similarly stars were to make it look more starry and night skyish

Just as Twilight in Scarlet the presentation looks gorgeous, the moon is really sharp and silvery, just like a jewel, I love that.
There's one thing that doesn't fit though: the rainbow. Just as you wrote in the title, it's 'midnight', a rainbow in midnight is kinda awkward to see.
Don't worry about colors. The different tones of blue mixed beautifully, creating a warm and pleasant contrast, so there was no need to add the rainbow.
Overall, it's hard worked and stylish.

Wow, so simple and yet wonderfully done. =o
I mean I just love the concept and the balance I feel in here. The rose petals scattered was a really nice idea and not just that, but how you are able to tint it into a soft color and especially something about the girl is different besides the lighting effects. Well done~
