My gosh. Brings me back to when I was really obsessed with Rozen Maiden.
I always wondered why each season was so short, like Traumend was starting to get interesting...
Then bam! End of season in a split second... I wasn't interested in seeing the OVA.
But onto this vector of yours...
I like how clean the lines look, and the colouring is good. The overlay of circles is kinda distracting, though cool.
I think you might be missing shadows? Not sure if it's in the scan, but it seems to be lacking details.
Either way, good job! Keep it up.
as far as making a "sharp line" in illustrator:
do you mean while you draw or when you "print"?
what's the dpi at which you work? I would make sure the final image is 300 dpi for starters to keep the vectors looking as smooth as possible.
When you go to rasterize your vector is anti-aliasing checked on or off?
I also liked rozen maiden (thats why i made this vector). I hope thers another season.
