i started this vector and painted wall in may and only finished it just now 
ack
that was so long ago 7
months ago
i had to create the bottom of her dress [so it's made up] since in the scan, it
stopped above her waist so i hope it looks ok 
[i had to redo the bottom of her clothes so many times because it looked weird
]
also, bits of her sleeves and hair had to be extended as well
the background [clouds] and foreground [flowers and grass] are painted using the
soft and hard round brush and its my first try at painting so i hope it looks ok
there was a fair amount of smudging and bluring in this wall so that all the
colours can flow and blend nicely together
the scan can be found -> here <- and this wall
consisted of too many layers for me to count
the background [clouds] is meant to seem distant and soft so it doesnt take the
focus away from the vector/character 
i gave the flowers outlines however i didnt with the grass, mainly since i think
it looks nicer without the outlines
with her clothes, i had done the base colour and then a shadow base colour then went over it with the drop tool to gather each little individual section of colour to make sure the colour is nearly the same as the original
i also used a reference
image to help me with the background and foreground, the image was found on the
net somewhere [not sure where since sis found it ages ago] so if anyone knows,
please inform me so i can give credit
i also made the foreground and background differet so it would suit my liking
ie: the extra flowers and a few bits and pieces at the front and the sky is a
different shade of blue etc
in my previous wall, a couple of people have suggested for my wall to be
textless so hope that you like my new almost textless painted vector wall
also, im a beginner at this whole painting thing so any pointers and advice is
much appreciated

This wallpaper has so much effort packed into it, if I were to make this my
eyeballs would drop out
But seriously though, this is an excellent example of a wallpaper made because
an idea was being pursued. The reconstruction of the scan, the high quality
vector, the painted sky (looks really good 
)
to the colours and flowers all work well making this well and truly
"complete".
And to all aspiring artists out there, check out the (super excellent) description! So much time, effort and experimentation has led to careful decisions, resulting a wonderful submission. Well done, enchantment!

this is very nice and well worth the effort put ~ I absolutely love the painting of the clouds and the various shading colours for it . your overall colour scheme is soft and pretty <3
however I hope you don't mind a small crit ^^' , the sketchy shading lines on the character is a nice touch , but it could be done a bit neater , since the whole wall itself doesn't have a sketchy feel so I personally would avoid that bit . the flowers are really pretty and detailed , but it would be nice if the insides/shading of the flowers (on the front especially) aren't smudged/blurred too much , since it contrasts with the outlines , doing some cleaner and bolder shadings would make them look better .
but overall you've done a very great job on this and it's a really lovely piece to look at . keep it up !

Also, I usually HATE Carnelian art, but you managed to make it look pleasing. That's quite amazing.
I also love how it's detailed, but not overcrowded. Nice composition, though I'm not sure I like how the dress flows.

Very beautiful, but do not put your email down on a wall. It's too noobish and only ruins the wall!
You worked very hard on this and it shows. The vector is well done, although I would have preferred Lacus to have no sign of cross hatching on her. Yet if you were to do that, you would have probably died.
Loved your description, but try not to put as many smiles into it. Again, it is too noobish.
