i started this vector and painted wall in may and only finished it just now 
ack
that was so long ago 7
months ago
i had to create the bottom of her dress [so it's made up] since in the scan, it
stopped above her waist so i hope it looks ok 
[i had to redo the bottom of her clothes so many times because it looked weird
]
also, bits of her sleeves and hair had to be extended as well
the background [clouds] and foreground [flowers and grass] are painted using the
soft and hard round brush and its my first try at painting so i hope it looks ok
there was a fair amount of smudging and bluring in this wall so that all the
colours can flow and blend nicely together
the scan can be found -> here <- and this wall
consisted of too many layers for me to count
the background [clouds] is meant to seem distant and soft so it doesnt take the
focus away from the vector/character 
i gave the flowers outlines however i didnt with the grass, mainly since i think
it looks nicer without the outlines
with her clothes, i had done the base colour and then a shadow base colour then went over it with the drop tool to gather each little individual section of colour to make sure the colour is nearly the same as the original
i also used a reference
image to help me with the background and foreground, the image was found on the
net somewhere [not sure where since sis found it ages ago] so if anyone knows,
please inform me so i can give credit
i also made the foreground and background differet so it would suit my liking
ie: the extra flowers and a few bits and pieces at the front and the sky is a
different shade of blue etc
in my previous wall, a couple of people have suggested for my wall to be
textless so hope that you like my new almost textless painted vector wall
also, im a beginner at this whole painting thing so any pointers and advice is
much appreciated

This wallpaper has so much effort packed into it, if I were to make this my
eyeballs would drop out
But seriously though, this is an excellent example of a wallpaper made because
an idea was being pursued. The reconstruction of the scan, the high quality
vector, the painted sky (looks really good 
)
to the colours and flowers all work well making this well and truly
"complete".
And to all aspiring artists out there, check out the (super excellent) description! So much time, effort and experimentation has led to careful decisions, resulting a wonderful submission. Well done, enchantment!

Her left eye is a bit weird but
nothing major.
Why did you put the sig on the
left so high and on her? it's kinda misplaced
and looks weird

i like how the colours all blend nicely and the soft pastel look
the
bottom part of her outfit looks a bit awkward and there is a tiny bit of green
spillage on the large pink flower on the bottom right [hope i didnt offend you
] the vector and painting is really well done and i like how you
added the shine on her hand

A little odd with the flowers with outlines but blurry shading, but other parts are very well done, especially the clouds. Love the colour scheme btw.

Like in the highlighted comment yah, and like brom, I think that this is an excellent example of just (uncompromisingly) going for something you really want to achieve on the canvas. All the things you have chosen were so carefully chosen, and the result is really great!

This was just an eyedrop. I couldn't believe how she reconstructed all of the lower part of the dress and remade it with a wonderful background of flowers. This is just excellent, beyond one of the greatest painted/vectored wallpaper I've seen and it deserves a highlight. Problem for me is that I'm using a crappy laptop that enhances the bright colors so I can't see all the details, but definately everyone should full view this.
