I started this a long time ago, but managed to finished it only after getting active again. It is dedicated to my beloved friends at Vectory (the whole staff). This is clean vectoring, done in illustrator, no rasters here. Hope you like it, since it took much effort from me (the stupid beads on the dress). I must admit that at first I wanted to change the colour of the dress (not really liking the purple...) but after some consideration I decided to leave it like to scan showed. Scan from Animepaper, many thanks to Kajime for submitting it.
Some facts:
1-10 scale of liking the scan: 8.5
Easiest part: dress
Hardest part: lemme see... the beads, the
beads and.... yes! the beads. And did I mention those HORRIBLE BEADS?! (Yes I
have developed a 'beads complex')
Layers: all the base colours +
shades+lighting+bg
Problems: The roses, yeah I know they
don't quite fit the image, but this is made accordingly to the scan... I tried
to repair them, but didn't manage.
Fun fact: The scan at first looked like a
vector (the lineart was stroked, no difference in thickness), but it wasn't
marked, and the quality made me think this is a scan... Well, nvmd, I hope this
is to your liking.
PS. I will NEVER< NEVER EVER vector
ANYTHING with so many beads again, (unless I like the scan on a 15 out of 10 pts
basis...)

When I saw the thumbnail for this I said "no flippin' way". All the details on this vector make it truly amazing. Must've driven you crazy! I think it would look a bit nicer if her eyes were more detailed but I'm not complaining. Truly amazing work, nicely done!

Her pose looks so nouveau-like especially in those Mucha's works. Very neat and those beads are really a serious matter, and you managed to do it. Great work! (Somehow I'm liking this type of purple... but not those dark purple

So pretty and very detailed! I love it! The only thing I hate is.. why is Bell-chan wearing that "thing"? Hauuuu... Bell-chan is not Urd-neesama! She wasn't suitable wearing someting like that.. but oh well! She look pretty.. So I forgave her ^^

though i must say that the colours are almost grey [esp the skin] so it doesnt look as good as it could

The mauve/purple background of the vector enhaces this picture more rather than the original white background which came when this image was first circulated. It makes Belldandy standout a lot more. Great idea.
