My latest wallpaper...
I haven't read Kobato, but I love CLAMP's art and I liked this pic so I walled
it... ^^
I started this wall some weeks ago and I opened the psd file every day and
looked at it hoping to get an idea for the background...and I think I kinda
failed in the end... 
Anyway, I hope someone will like this wallpaper.

This is lovely. It's even better than the original image! And personally, I find the addition of the windmills unusual, but inspired. It's gentle, warm & peaceful.

Love the fact that you used multiple layers for the shading. I like the soft colours, and the breezy background looks great. Though I find that her feets look a lil odd and seem like she's floating; maybe you should cover with some more grass. Overall, great job!
I can so relate to that. But I gotta disagree, the BG works really well, you did a great job. ^_^
Kobato is such a sweetheart and this wall, with it's gentle colours and textures, really captures that. I <3 it.

Loved the windmills idea~ The petals and the way the sky is not pure-blue, but a wild rain cloudy add more drama to it, which I more greatness I could ever ask for~

I like the windmill idea, since her hair is all waving around in the wind, it makes sense ^^ I like the textures, it's shiny
Is the grass vectored as well? um, maybe put some shadows under her feet to make her look more grounded?

Not sure the blurring and texturing go together that well, but, that's probably just personal preference. The idea and mood is greatly displayed- good work.
I feel so bad that I didn't add this to **excellent** highlight when it should've deserved it from the beginning. I looked more closer at this when I full viewed this again and saw a background. I'm so sorry, its due to my sisters laptop enhances the brightness that bright becomes so bright that you just can't see the details.
Indeed, it's lovely! The textures used made the image look like made of cloth. Kobato is one of my fav character from CLAMP and you honored her with this smooth, light and sweet artwork! ^^
