Indeed, it has been quite a while since my last submission.. hell, I haven't even visited the site in a good while. However, I have good reasons for that. After a good number of hectic events, I've actually managed to finalize yet another wallpaper project that has been dragged along for an unnecessarily long time.
As for this wallpaper.. where to start.. let's just say that I wanted to make a Bleach wallpaper.. but at the same time, I was looking to make something blue and icey. The only viable subject that I saw at the time was Hitsugaya as he is the wielder of the most powerful ice zanpaktou. I started out with the idea of placing Hitsugaya with the beastly form of his Zanpaktou, the ice dragon Hyorinmaru, in a cold setting. It went relatively smooth.. until I got to the part where I had to place the ice dragon within the wallpaper. I could not.. let me stress that.. could not find a useable image of it no matter where I searched. In the end, I used an image to virtually create the dragon that you now see in the wallpaper.
After the main parts of the wallpaper were completed, I went back to the wallpaper and added in the little extra things to improve its look once in a blue moon. After all of that, I finally decided that adding in anything more would only detract from the overall wallpaper and decided to finalize it. I've thought about adding in some text about his release but as it is now, I'm not sure if it will be a generally favorable addition. Well then.. now to see if I can start working again on the other few dozen wallpapers I have in progress...
