Mermaids is the entry for Freedom contest ^^
The moment I saw the scan, I love it and decided to vector it for the contest but oh my never thought will be this hard. First I did an outlining and I dont really have a problem with it, and second start to color it, thats the problem for me. For hairs and skin its ok but the mermaid's tails are so hard. I need to trace the color and the pattern for the tails and start coloring it.

Great work on the vector of the mermaids. Such a clean and crisp work.
The colours are awesome and I really like the turn out because you said that the coloring was really hard for you.
The effects are great too and I love the color scheme on the wall.
The background is nice and doesn't take to much room because the vector is the most important thing here. Don't know if it reminds of SpongeBob because I've never seen it ^.^
