From my artbook Gashu by Sumeragi Natsuki, released in march 2005. I used PS to remove the page number and to do some corrections.
I hope you'll like it

A great piece of art - would make a beautiful wallpaper!
Ohhh I usually don't delve into the scan gallery much, but this is so gorgeous! I think this is my first fav from the scans gallery. :P
The art work is very , very nice. This has the look and feel of a 1920's wallpaper or poster. It's almost like when I look at, I am teleported back to that age. The texture has a soft feel to it. At the same time, I like the attention given to by the illustrator. I.E., the outfit being worn by the woman. The kimono with all the ripples (folds), gives a three di-mentional look. The Tiger, looks contented beside her. Gives the pix a more "at peace feel".
The B/G looks very well. I like the neutral look to it. Makes me also think of a Chinese/ Japanese wallpaper of long ago or part of a calender. I admit, if some Chinese or Japanese written text were added to the upper right, it would compliment your submission.
Thanxs for the share and for allowing me to dream about being in another time being over there in China.
:)
