hello!
it's 2 AM here and a little tired to make this description remotely
interesting.. 
but i shall try. 
this
is from a page in Japanese Comickers vol. 2. the reference to the title is
because i drew this for the boy archer on the right and not for the pixie, but
since she's all over the original photo, i have no choice but to draw her (i'm
not even a fan of pixies, they're evil. jk) and being the lazy person that i am,
has one of the worst details i've ever encountered. that i was too tired to even
make the archer look dashing as he is. >-< in addition, if you happen to
own a copy of this book, i would like to know the name of the original artist.

you know, you could also have excluded the pixie and faded the side of the guy. Or done the ultra tough thing and reconstructed the character XP, then again that wouldnt be the same

Wow, a load of shading. The girl's right eye isn't quite aligned to her left but other than that, it's great!
Is that even an archer ? Since he doesn't have a bow ?
Anyway, that's a nice work, great shading, i get the original artist wouldn't be disappointed
. And i don't think pixies are evil (at least they don't LOOK evil
) ; nice job on all the details too... i think you've come to hate
pixies even more now !

the archer's eyes are different from the original...yours look more serious haha great...great...
I think you've done a nice job with both characters. Though it is true, that the girl in the foreground does take away from the male figure. This is mostly because she is so "elaborate," I think. I don't think there's anything wrong with leaving her out, and simply focusing on the part of the male figure that you can see.
That's assuming you want to focus on him. In either case, you've done a good job
