This is my first wallpaper so I haven't got so much practice... ^^U But I think
this image is nice and good to do a wallpaper. ^^

That's really good for a first wall (in my non-artist opinion). The layout and composition are really nice; from the thumbnail, it looks fantastic. It's just a few details that are holding it back.
I think the white border around the character is a bit too thick or might even look better removed. The text also has an odd border that looks a bit out of place. If you changed that and vectored the scan, this would be a really badass wall.
