This WP has something...I can't really dexcribe it but the there's something like a Techno - Maya-ish feeling. Very hard to describe. I really like the character, that's a great scan. And the BG fits very good to it.

Only one thing - as stated before a higher resolution wouldn't hurt. The quality wouldn't really be affected by a resize to 1280 x 1024 but, however, that's not a big problem.
