so tired ... lol ... i spent all day at this wallpaper, and my foot magically can walk again ;D ok, so... info on this wallie... haha.
well i found the scan here at Minitokyo. Then, i extracted it, which was a pin,
then i added some missing parts. And umm ... i got some butterfyl and bird
scans, added them to the girl. Then.. .ummm... i painted in the flowers and the
shoreline and the water
...
ha... tired.
i give credits to the wonderful texture ---- > DA!
And the cloud brushes were found in Deviantart =]

This is one of the most prettiest wallies I've ever seen!
I seriously just adore this wallpaper!
Just awesome job!
its so cool!
Its a bit pixelized from ur extraction and the white stuff are not random (on the bottom) but when i saw the thmbnail i had to click it and full view and i just love it, the colors the.....well everything : )
Simply A M A Z I N G

haha. i liked this from the sight of the thumbnail.
uhm, you extracted it... which was a pin? you used a pin in extracting it? uhhh.. i dun get it..
from the plants.. and the girl... it's kinda obvious that it's Saya No Uta like my wall..
of course it's textured; it's beautiful!
hey, i hope your foot gets better. oh and painted-feathers is going to be up in a few hours from now. ^^
i have onli 1 thing to say...WONDERFULLY done! great work ^^ love the way u merged the pic n the bg together into one beuautiful wallie =)
wow.. that is one BEAUTIFUL wallpaper. Its simply gorgeous. The background was very well made and the scan you chose was great. Definite fav
very nice..but personally i think it would be even better if you didn't cut off the girl's face.
This wallpaper is made out of flaws.
-The first striking thing is your scan does not fit the bg. Not only the art has more contrast and very dark shadows compared to the desaturated and neutral bg, but it is badly extracted and not blended in at all. Where is the post-extraction work on this scan? The twisting vines are completely random in your beach scene and seem out of place. This effect divides the scan from it's bg and does not make your wallpaper look like a whole.
-Your clouds may be correctly placed, they still seem to lack form and sharp edges. I could swear you median filtered it and left it like that. Median removes any edge from an image, hence this now looks like a big mess from up-close.
-Those ( I'm guessing they are) flower petals at the bottom only adds to the absurdity of your composition. They give nothing interesting to the scene and look like ...well nothing in particular.
-The flowers are probably a nice touch. But why cut them from another scan? Why not just make them yourself?
-The beach scene looks like a sketch of an unfinished painting. Lacks technique, detail and has a very dirty feel to it due to the unproper smudging. I suggest you use smaller brushes and zoom in on your canvas when you paint something.
-Why in god's name did you add this texture? To hide imperfections?
wow, i love the clouds
the
colour you used matches nicely and the texture adds a nice touch
the
scenery looks really nice and overall, lovely wall~^^
WOW...
beautifull wallie.....everything is fiting perfectly...
excellent work
Weeeheee, pretty. Although I do agree the green thingy doesn't quite so match the beach scene, I still love it! Fave from me, and my new desktop background ^_~.
wow, i like the nice scenery with the nice clouds
the
textures add a nice touch and the birds and butterflies look nice in your wall
the flowers look lovely and overall wonderful wall ^^
Beautiful! Everything is so beautiful! *.*
To me, I actually think its actually quite nice...

and Maybe itll look better without being smudged...

I like the title U put in there... Very suitable for the scan with the twisting vine... ^^
Hmm... But i think that the vines & the scan might not quite fit with the beach scene U added behind there...
The beach scene is quite nice...
The flowers on the bottom looks a lil odd since it seems to be sort of out of place...
Im actually quite fine with the texture, I think that it looks quite nice but maybe a lil lesser might make it better...
Like the clouds though
Its very pretty

How cute <3
I don't get it what does candy-chan mean with bad extraction... I think it's well extracted... Though it seems that it's too sharp and I suppose it doesn't blends well with the background because of the sharp edges but still! I think that's a pretty wallie! Though I would have suggested to make those flower petals in the corner fly more freely and in the other places too.
I like it, it's pretty
Some of the stuff that Candy-chan says is true. The extraction isn't great, the vines with the beach scene is just totally random and the desaturated background doesn't match at all with the sharp image you used. But I like the idea and I think that the vines and the scan would look better in a different background. Keep it up.
On my God! This is amazing, awesome
I
love the composition you got, the scan not fullview, those green vines
surrounding the girl. The bg is great too.
Congratulations
I love your idea and the scan is beautiful. Erm...however, I do have to agree with candy-chan about the scan not fitting very well with the bg. When you first look at the wall, it looks really good, but then you kind of realize that the bg is more solid than having that transparent feel that the scan has (sorry, I hope im not restating what candy-chan said). I also noticed that theres a couple stray pixels here and there around the scan, and I think its because you blurred it. Ahh but I hope im not sounding all negative, becuase i really do love this wall
Super work!
I love those colors and soo nice effects!
Fav!
^_^ i like it too = my new desktop bkgd
Very nice wallpaper! ^^
I like the background, and the character blends nicely into it... there are some minor flaws, but nothing too bad...overall, very good job ^^
