C.O.D.E of the Samurai featuring Kurogane, our strong-head but honourable hero. I wanted to make a series of wallpapers featuring the three guys of TsubasaRC and I finally completed with this last wallpaper. Hooraw, I didn't know what scans to use since there's very limited amount of Kurogane scans and I wanted something different from the ones that was used the most.
Redrew the right half of the sword and his cape using the pen tool. Also drew in the black panels. Coloured in his eyes, and increased the reddness of the blood on his face and arm. The scan was black and white to begin with, and I can't seem to find the scan again on MT. Probably because it's b&w that it's not there anymore.
The blood burshes are from AngryBlue, and fonts are from PastorofMuppets' site, [url=www.darkerthanblack.tk]Darker Than Black[/url].
Add Celes (scan in by Marissa)and there you have it. About 40 some layers and slowly finishing it in 14 hours.
Comments, suggestions, critisms, etc. are all appreciated, and while you're at it check out the other heroes: Syaoran and Fye. (I changed the signature for all of them and made some minor changes).

Wow... O_O Definitely one of the most impressive Kurogane walls around... particularly since you really nailed down the wild side of his character to a T, especially with that dragon silhouette, which looks fantastic superimposed onto the screen. I'm not big on blood and gore *yet* in walls, but it's really effective here, and the font is nice too. Yah, having most of the scan of Kurogane in black and white does make him stand out a bit, but I think that you picked nice "muted" background colors so that it's not too jarring. Very nice *^.^*

Don't know much about Tsubasa... unless you're talking about that old, soccer anime... but I like this wallie.
The background is kinda simple but it fits the wp as a whole.
The character seems a bit to B&W, but that's cool in a way.

i didn't like kurogane very much when i started read the manga but now i think
he is one of my favourites. you really drew the other half of the sword O_O and
cape ? amazing ! background looks great and that shadow of dragon on the wall is

I love what you've done here! The concept is great, and suits Kurogane's original character well. I would imagine that this is the image of Kuro-tan when he was in his own country as a Samurai killing people. That's why I think the blood spots look so great on this wall.

This is easily my favorite Kurogane wallpaper. Freaking easily. Love his crimson eyes against his black figure. The blood splattered everywhere reminds me of old Samurai flicks like the sword of doom. Gotta love the nostalgia there :p
