Not your traditional type of Anime Christmas wallie but when have I ever been a
normal waller 
Anyway, here's my Christmas wall for the year. It ain't extremelery christmasy
(or extremelery detailed and technical) but I hope you enjoys it all the
same.
As soon as I saw this scan I throught of the Australian outback.
The trees, the rocks and lake all remind me a Australian bush landscape.
In case anyone who doesn't know me too well, I do happen to live in Australia
(not in the bush through mind you), where Christmas falls in summer... not
winter.
So to me, making a wallpaper with girls in santa suits in awintery type
background just didn't seem like Christmas too me..... since Christmas for me
over here is all about the heat, the beach, swimming, playing backyard cricket
and generally being basked in sunlight.
I tried to reflect that in this wall. The sun, the heat and the beauty of the
landscape.
Hence the title "Merry Christmas from the Sunburnt Land.
Anyway enough waffling on, about the wall.

I felt the scan was too beautiful to change too much, so I mainly just did some
filters and a lot of work with the burn tool and colour levels. I aimed to make
it look like a watercolour painting somewhat.
Anywhoo... enjoy the wall.

I really like the gentle colours here. I first thought how weird it is that this wall is named merry xmas, but I can relate because I live in New Zealand and xmas is also during summer here unfortunatwly. T.T
