I love the spidery Tachikoma tanks. They're just so cute. I was actually tracing
this scan in order to get more experience with the gradient mesh tool, but it's
taking a long time and I decided to do something else with the outline in the
meanwhile. It's like a CAD-CAM sketch of the Tachikoma, only if it were
displayed on a screen with lots of little interactive bits you can navigate
through. Translucency is your friend
The background was made entirely from stock photos off of Stock Exchange. That's
right, all stock photos, no Photoshop magic (except for the blending modes. And
a little bit of color adjustment.)
Thanks to w00t for sending me a tech sheet (I think it was originally Fey's but
now I don't remember) that I used for the techie bits.

I like, I like. Maybe I would have kept the big frame a bit more transparent, to diffenciate from the tachikoma things, yeah contrast thing
no time to write more D: gomen
This is so cool! I love all the cool shades and this looks like new technology! LOL.
First off, I love the tachikomas. And their cute little voices.
I really love how this looks sort of like a cross between a computer application and a blueprint. The little data bozes and techy background give this a great feel, and it's nice to see you're still keeping up the originality. The shade of blue [correct me if I'm wrong, I'm kind of blue-green colorblind] you used looks really good too.
Awesome work, Tama-Neko. Can't wait to see more from you.
another good one. very sleek.
